R&D BackgroundHello everyone, today we’re excited to introduce WalleFPV’s second product: the Naked O4 Pro.

Our previous model, the Eagle 2, weighed 69.5g in prototype testing and 72g in mass production. With its 31.5g battery, its takeoff weight exceeded 100g. Upon launch, the Eagle 2 stood as the smallest FPV drone equipped with the O4 Pro, delivering impressive performance in power and range, alongside rave customer reviews.However, looking ahead to 2026, stricter regulations will be imposed in some regions on no-declaration-required FPV dronesmandating a takeoff weight under 100g. Simultaneously, we aimed to upgrade the Eagle series to create the lightest and smallest O4 Pro-equipped FPV drone while further boosting power and range. This led us to officially kick off the design and development of the Naked O4 Pro in July.After numerous design iterations and extensive testing, the WalleFPV Naked O4 Pro is nearly ready for release. With testing substantially completed, the model is now in pre-production, slated to ship by the end of November.Core Upgrades: Unprecedented Lightweight & Compact Design– Dramatic Weight Reduction: The standard O4 Pro (including antenna and camera screws) weighs 33.4g, while the Naked O4 Pro tips the scales at just 20g — a 13.4g reduction. Its also more compact (31.431.412mm) than the standard O4 Pro, making it effortless to install on micro FPV cameras.– 100% Compatibility: All mounting holes and screws match the standard O4 Pro, eliminating frame compatibility issues. Existing O4 Pro users can simply purchase the Naked O4 Pro case kit to upgrade their setup for better power and extended battery life.-Tailored Accessories for Micro FPVWe’ve also developed a dedicated filter kit for the Naked O4 Pro, including UV, ND8, ND16, and ND32 filters. Additionally, a custom 60mm camera cable is providedmaking the setup more convenient and lighter for sub-2-inch FPV drones.Why Not Use the Lighter O4 Air Unit?Some may wonder: why not opt for the 8.2g O4 Air Unit (which supports 4K video) instead? The answer lies in the core advantages of the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro (the base for our Naked O4 Pro): it features a 1/1.3-inch sensor, 4K/120fps recording, a 155 ultra-wide-angle lens, 10-bit D-Log M color mode, and multi-mode video stabilizationall critical features the standard O4 Air Unit lacks. The Naked O4 Pro retains these professional-grade capabilities while achieving the lightweight design needed for compliance and performance.
