Keeping Harlowe’s vintage look, the Max Air 40 sports the brand’s well-known brown faux leather finish and silver accents that will improve the appearance of any lighting setup. Starter Kit

Use the Max Air 40 with or without its detachable 23 fixed focus lens that creates up to nine times more illumination compared to its bare light output. The result of using the included lens is a higher output of 11,080 lux at a distance of 3.3′ (6500K) in a highly compact 3.74 x 4.65 x 3.97″ form factor. A 54.72Wh detachable battery pack, USB-C cable, and 65W power adapter are also included with the light and are all packed into a convenient carry case for easy storage and transportation.

Versatile Bi-Colour Performance

Go from cool to warmer tones and everywhere in between and find the right level of illumination for your scenes. Simply turn the knobs to seamlessly adjust the intensity from 0 to 100% and CCT from 2700 to 6500K. The Max Air 40 has 40W of power output complemented by a COB LED that serves as a versatile light for a wide range of projects going from travel vlogs or product shoots to diverse livestream setups. Another benefit is CRI 96/TLCI 96 for accurate colour reproduction with natural skin tones and true-to-life colours. The included 23 lens delivers high brightness in a small light body.

NFC App Control, Magnetic System & Quiet

Adjust the lighting settings onboard thanks to its easy-to-use controls. The Max Air 40’s smart connectivity also enables quick remote control via Bluetooth or NFC-enabled app. App control allows you manage essential settings and customise the brightness and colour from up to 65.6′ away. One more highlight is a magnetic modular system that enables optional snap-on accessories, such as gels, domes, and barndoors to more creative flexibility. The Max Air 40 fully supports the accessories of the original Max 40. Finally, the light has a silent cooling system with extremely low noise with 22 dB at 3.3′.

Runtime

Whether in the studio or out in the field, the Max Air 40 can be easily powered. The unit comes with a rechargeable and detachable battery, which boasts one hour and 12 minutes of runtime at maximum brightness. The same battery will keep running for one hour and 36 minutes at 75%, two hours and 30 minutes at 50%, five hours at 25%, reaching the impressive number of 13 hours at 10%. The included 54.72Wh battery pack is easy and quick to install, remove, or swap for continuous power. The battery pack also features a built-in LED to facilitate power management even in the dark, as well as two USB-C sockets with an IP65 rated water/dust resistant 3.45 x 1.38 x 3.76″ body. Meaning the battery pack can supply power not only to the lamp body, but to other electronic devices like your smartphone.
