Clean the Hardened Steel Diff Lockout and Outdrives with parts cleaner to remove any machining oils before installation. This ensures 1up Gold will adhere to the parts for extended longevity.
Install the shims and O-Rings per the instructions and apply a thin, even coat of 1up Gold to the outdrive shafts as shown.
Once installed in the diff, apply 1up Gold to the outdrive retention pin.
Apply 1up Gold to the inner channel of the Hardened Steel Diff Lockout as shown.
Apply 1up Gold to the 4 outer areas of the Hardened Steel Diff Lockout that will make contact with the diff gear.
Once ready, simply slide the Hardened Steel Diff Lockout into place and press firmly to seat. The fitment between the Lockout and the outdrive pin is snug to reduce wear.
Install the second outdrive and apply 1up Gold as shown.
Firmly press the halves together and secure using the kit screws!
Your newly Locked-Out diff is ready to hit the streets and break some hearts, enjoy!
