Water Rescue and Payload Drop for Responders ONLY
This two-day, mission-focused course prepares public safety UAS operators to safely and effectively deploy drones for aquatic rescue support and precision payload delivery. The program blends classroom instruction with scenario-based field operations, emphasizing standards-driven testing, coordination with ground and water-based responders, and repeatable mission execution.
Operators will train in actual and simulated water rescue environments, configure and deploy aerial payload delivery systems, and conduct NIST-aligned performance testing to validate payload accuracy, release reliability, and operational safety. The course focuses on real-world response workflows, ensuring drone operations integrate seamlessly into existing rescue and incident command structures.
