74HC158 – Quad 2-Input Multiplexer IC (Philips) – SOIC-16 SMD Package

The 74HC158 is a high-speed Si-gate CMOS device that is pin-compatible with low-power Schottky TTL (LSTTL). Compliant with JEDEC standard no. 7A, this quad 2-input multiplexer is designed to select 4 bits of data from two sources, controlled by a common data select input (S). The selected data is presented on the four outputs in an inverted form, with an active LOW enable input (E).

  • 1Y = E(1I1S + 1I0S)
  • 2Y = E(2I1S + 2I0S)
  • 3Y = E(3I1S + 3I0S)
  • 4Y = E(4I1S + 4I0S)

• The 74HC158 is identical to the 74HC157, except it has inverting outputs.
