A brass pinion gear for the 1/16th scale trucks. This pinion gear is required to upgrade the gearbox as it allows a metal transmission shaft to be used on this.
The stock pinion gears have press fit transmission shafts which does not allow a metal transmission shaft to securely attach to it. With this pinion gear there is a flat spot for the set screw to hold the transmission shaft in place. With this and proper transmission shafts (ones that have a set screw) you can upgrade to any aftermarket gearbox we sell.
