TheCD4053 is a CMOS logic-based triple 2-channel analog multiplexer/demultiplexer IC. It consists of three independent single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) analog switches. Each switch has a digital control input and two input/output terminals. The IC allows analog or digital signals to pass through and is commonly used for signal routing, audio switching, and multiplexing applications.
Packaged in a DIP-16 through-hole format, the CD4053 is ideal for prototyping and integration into a variety of electronic circuits where multi-channel switching is required.
