Deity Theos DXTX XLR Global
The DXTX Theos Plug-On Transmitter is equipped with a Neutrik XLR locking female panel mount connector, enabling simultaneous transmission and recording. It features a colour screen and delivers up to fourteen hours of battery life powered by two AA batteries. Inside the battery compartment, you’ll find an included 32GB microSD card for onboard recording.
The transmitter uses the EMC-XLR Series connector from Neutrik, specially designed to enhance RF suppression for critical applications where radio transmissions occur near the microphone. Additionally, the XLR connector provides 5V bias voltage, which is essential for powering or activating many modern video microphones such as the Deity V-Mic D4 Mini, RODE VideoMic GOii, and Sennheiser MKE400, or to trigger models like the Deity V-Mic D3/D3 Pro and RODE VideoMic NTG.
Instead of placing LEDs on the side, the DXTX positions them underneath the unit, making them easy to spot when mounted on a boom pole while keeping them out of the camera’s view during handheld interviews. The bottom of the device also houses a 50 Ohm SMA antenna port and a USB-C port, allowing integration into larger systems such as IFB setups or camera hop transmitters. The built-in backup recorder can continuously run as a safety measure during recordings.
