Overview
Orbbec Astra Stereo S U3 is a compact Active Stereo IR 3D camera designed for close-range, high-precision sensing. It integrates Orbbecs custom ASIC for high quality depth processing and single-cable USB 3.0 power + connectivity. The 3D camera delivers reliable performance across various lighting conditions and supports both USB 2.0/3.0 data and power operation via a USB Type-C connector. Typical applications include retail, robot picking, objective measurement, and face identification, with easy integration through the Orbbec OpenNI SDK.
