The AF-G4-100M tethered drone system can be combined with an airborne module to form a tethering system compatible with multiple drone platforms. This tethering system mainly includes: a winding reel, a tethering box, and integrated tethering cables and ground power supply. Its primary function is to provide wired power supply, information transmission, and cable winding/unwinding for the tethered drone. The winding reel mainly includes the system box, main frame, cable storage reel, and control circuit.

The AF-G4-100M UAV tethering case combines with an onboard module to form a complete tethered system compatible with multiple UAV platforms. The system includes a retractable winch, a tethering case, integrated tethering cables.delivering wired power, information transmission, and cable retraction for continuous drone operation.

Usage Instructions:

Mooring Box Panel:

  • Main power circuit breaker: controls all electrical devices.
  • Main power switch button: energizes high-voltage DC output for the drone.
  • Indicator light: shows power supply status.
  • Torque adjustment knob: controls reel tension.
  • Transparent panel: visual cable length observation.
  • LCD Display: shows output voltage, current, power, and input voltage.

Wiring Instructions:

  1. Connect the supplied power cord from mains or generator to the mooring box.
  2. Connect the high-voltage cable (XT90) to the drones onboard power supply and secure the load-bearing hook.

Operating Instructions:

  1. Adjust torque knob to minimum, close circuit breaker, and power on the system.
  2. Pull cable out during takeoff; adjust torque for tension and reel-in synchronization.
  3. Press “main power switch” to start high-voltage output when drone is ready to take off.
  4. After mission, turn off main power, safely reel in the cable, and unplug power cord.

Maintenance & Safety:

  • Level equipment before operation and wear insulating gloves.
  • Adjust speed knob gradually; do not exceed max torque suddenly.
  • Check cable, connectors, and moving parts every 50 flights or 20 hours.
  • Store cables coiled in a dry, cool location; avoid dragging or sharp objects.
