Advantages of Tethered UAV Operation:
- Extended Flight Time: Perform long-duration fixed-point missions without battery limits.
- Enhanced Safety: Operate in no-fly zones, crowded areas, or hazardous environments with minimized risk.
- Ease of Use: Simple operation requiring only basic flight skills.
- High-Power Payload Support: Airborne module can provide high-power output for drones carrying heavier loads.
Key Features:
- All-aluminum alloy shell lightweight (<14kg) and durable.
- One-button start for high-voltage output and automatic cable retraction.
- No modification needed for the aircraft; just install the onboard module.
- Customizable shell color, text language, and fiber optic communication.
- Two transport modes available: backpack or trailer.
Usage Instructions:
Mooring Box Panel:
- Main power circuit breaker: controls all electrical devices.
- Main power switch button: energizes high-voltage DC output for the drone.
- Indicator light: shows power supply status.
- Torque adjustment knob: controls reel tension.
- Transparent panel: visual cable length observation.
- LCD Display: shows output voltage, current, power, and input voltage.
Wiring Instructions:
- Connect the supplied power cord from mains or generator to the mooring box.
- Connect the high-voltage cable (XT90) to the drones onboard power supply and secure the load-bearing hook.
Operating Instructions:
- Adjust torque knob to minimum, close circuit breaker, and power on the system.
- Pull cable out during takeoff; adjust torque for tension and reel-in synchronization.
- Press “main power switch” to start high-voltage output when drone is ready to take off.
- After mission, turn off main power, safely reel in the cable, and unplug power cord.
Maintenance & Safety:
- Level equipment before operation and wear insulating gloves.
- Adjust speed knob gradually; do not exceed max torque suddenly.
- Check cable, connectors, and moving parts every 50 flights or 20 hours.
- Store cables coiled in a dry, cool location; avoid dragging or sharp objects.
